Life is beautiful.
Every life is beautiful.
This past weekend the boys and I took a trip up north to celebrate my Great Grandma’s (their great great grandma’s!) 99th birthday, and it was an absolutely amazing experience for me.
It was so nice to get to spend an entire weekend and bond with my family that I don’t get to spend much time with. Watching the boys bond and play with all of them on a level they never get the chance to, was something I will always cherish. Watching them play with their cousins and laugh with my grandparents, just filled my heart with so much joy, so much love.
But what got me the most was seeing my adorable great grandmother smile at all of her grandchildren. Unable to move and play the way I know she would love to, she just sat back and silently watched, smiling.
To think, how much her eyes have seen. How much wisdom she has gained throughout her lifetime that nobody else has experienced.
Then, it occurred to me that nobody who has ever or will ever live has seen nor experienced exactly the same things she has. Not even close.
I then started thinking about how each life is so different. How everyone’s perspective and experiences vary so greatly. Nobody’s experience here on earth is the same. Each of our journeys are totally unique.
I thought about how beautiful that truly was.
We often treat ourselves with less respect than we should. We look in the mirror and don’t like what we see. We are so hard on ourselves, constantly comparing our imperfections to others, trying to hide them so others won’t think less of us. Why?
Why on earth do we try so hard to fit in?
We were made to be different.
Nobody, anywhere, anytime, in all of existence has had the exact same experiences as you! And nobody, anywhere, anytime, will EVER see exactly the same things your eyes have seen. When you die, your knowledge dies with you, but the essence of your existence will always remain. Nobody can ever take your place in existence.
So share your knowledge. Love the real you. Love one another.
Nobody else can fill our shoes exactly the way each of us does.
So let’s make the most it!
Let’s live our fullest lives!
Make the most of our existence!
And love eachother not inspite of our differences, but because of them.
I hope these images inspire you as much as they did me, and make you strive to…
I hope this inspires you to live your purpose. To know that you are a very important part of something bigger than yourself.
I pray that God will guide you in your way, and that you all may live your fullest life. I pray that you learn to abide in his love, and share your special light with the world.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I’d love to know what you think!
